our sober living home

Location: Iliff and Buckley, Aurora

Hello, my name is Ian, and I am an addict. I wanted to tell you about bridge house and a little about my experience there. Bridge house is a spacious and comfortable home in a quiet residential community in the heart of aurora co. The home is well maintained and cared for by its residents. It is fully furnished including a fully outfitted kitchen and ample refrigerator and dry storage space for each resident’s food. You can expect to have one or two roommates in your individual room. You will be provided with a comfortable bed, linens, and personal storage space upon your arrival. There is a twelve-step recovery club with multiple meetings every day within a short walk. There are also a lot of options for shopping and tons of job opportunities also within walking distance of the home.

Men’s Sober Living Aurora

Living happy, joyous and free!

I found out about Aurora Sober Living when I was in a three-day detox program. I was homeless and quite a mess. I was at a point in my life with very little hope and completely distraught. In complete desperation I decided to attempt to break the cycle of misery that I had created in my life. I called Aurora Sober Living and was offered a bed by the kind and compassionate staff there. I went straight from detox and met with a staff member at the house and was welcomed to the program with gentle and kind words of encouragement from someone in recovery who understood exactly where I was coming from on every level. After adjusting to my new surroundings and stabilizing from withdraws I found so much camaraderie and support from people in my house that I now consider family. This program is about recovery and accountability. There is a resident house manager to provide support and direction. Bridge house is the foundation that I built my recovery on. I could write a small novel about all the positive things I have to say about this program and its staff and residents. If you have had enough and are looking for a place to build a new life in recovery, then this is the program for you. Today I have over six months clean, I am gainfully employed and learning to love myself again. I can show up for myself and others in a way I never thought possible. If I can do it so can you! We do recover.
