Banks House – Women’s Phase One

Banks House Women’s Transitional House

Welcome to Banks House – Women’s Phase One

our sober living home

Location: Hampden and Buckley, Aurora

The women’s Phase One homes at Aurora Sober Living are more than just a place to stay — they are communities where women can heal, grow, and find strength together.

The Banks House is like having nine sisters under one roof. It’s a place to find support, love, and connection throughout our recovery journey.

The community helps each other get back on our feet by providing peer coaching, program meetings, and support groups. Through positive encouragement, we are able to grow in our own ways while also finding a common connection between each other in our sobriety.

The Banks House shows us that it’s possible to live together, work through challenges, and build meaningful and genuine relationships while maintaining our recovery.

Be what we were born to be!

Being in sober living can seem intimidating at first — and no doubt we’ve all had mixed feelings about living with nine women under one roof — but Phase One has given us the tools and the structure to turn that challenge into a blessing.

Together, we plan fun activities such as cooking, arts and crafts, and movie nights, creating memories and bonding through sober fun. We also hold each other accountable to maintaining a clean and respectful living environment, ensuring everyone feels safe and comfortable.

Phase One provides the structure, support, and scholarship opportunities that make this foundation possible. With daily programming, curfews, peer coaching, and accountability, we are not only given the chance to focus on our recovery, but also to build deep, lifelong connections with women who understand our struggles and share our victories.

We are each grateful for this opportunity — to not only have found each other, but to have been given the chance to join an overall amazing program that supports women in recovery at every step.
