Location: Aurora
Integrity house is ASL’s 11th residential house, making a total of seven male houses to offer newcomers into the program. This house is settled in an Aurora neighborhood just minutes from bus routes, shopping centers, and major businesses-making it a conveniently located option for residents who are coming in needing employment or who are lacking independent transportation.
This house sits in a cozy, family friendly neighborhood that allows residents to feel safe and comfortable. It extends a front yard, with a two car garage, as well as a large backyard with a patio perfect for summer BBQs or late night fire pit conversations. This is a three story, four bedroom, two and a half bath household containing a large basement; overall accounting for twelve residents (one house manager, three in master, four in basement, and two in other two rooms.) There are two common areas which are equipped with televisions, furniture, a foosball table, and a desk area with a program computer and printer available for household use. The kitchen comes stocked with common supplies such as refrigerator, stove, microwave, coffee maker, and all kitchen dining essentials, ready to use. The garage has ample storage space while holding extra fridges for all residents to get their personal food storage space.
Living at Integrity house gives all residents a chance at a different direction of life. The men in the house create a unique fellowship amongst each other that could be associated with them for life. Recovery is a top priority for the ASL program and staff.
Here at Integrity men are given the opportunities to work with, support, and love each other in ways they may have never received before. Whether a resident has lived here for months or if someone new is coming into the home- they will always be welcomed with open arms and within hours a part of the brotherhood like they have been here all along.
There is also a strong sense of independence within each of the people and it is guaranteed to influence hope and strength by watching each other grow and cheering each other on.
There is an amazing sense of accountability that goes into each day, week, and month within Integrity House.
Whether it’s coming from staff or other residents in the program everyone holds each other accountable to ensure healthy boundaries are being set in place and respected in order to create a healthy life balance between personal and professional life. Learning how to live life clean is a beautiful balancing act and we believe that having a strong team and stabilized support system is crucial to make that happen.
Integrity house comes with resources and relationships that help each person grow individually into the best versions of themselves. We all understand and come from the struggles of addiction; therefore we want to provide the most we are capable of providing for each individual entering the program.
