This place has saved my life! I had been struggling with addiction for all my life. I was in a very bad, downward spiral. I had been drinking everyday for the last 2 years. I was literally at the end of my rope. Having tried to end my life, I was saved by a police officer who got me to the ER I was absolutely defeated mentally and spiritually. I had a friend that recommended Aurora Sober Living. I was quickly contacted and placed in a safe, clean and beautiful home. I have been sober now for a while and have a strong program. I am so grateful for this and if you are struggling with addiction and need a safe place to get the help. I strongly recommend Aurora Sober Living.
Karis and Sherry make it clear what is required and expected from every resident. Remember faith without works is dead so it is everybody’s responsibility to find a home group, get a sponsor and find a higher power of there own understanding. They are extremely fair about dealing with the difficulties that being new in recovery can bring about. If you are serious about staying sober and living sober the structure that is built into the house will seem of no consequence but if your just looking to get over and be the way you’ve been throughout your active addiction you won’t like it. I am truly grateful to have been a resident here. – Ross
I have stayed at Aurora Sober Living for 5 months now and I would highly recommend it! I came in here with basically nothing but the clothes on my back. I was mentally drained. Here I was able to save money, live in a safe environment and most importantly stay sober. The owners of ASL are very welcoming, compassionate and helpful. They will be at your aide to get back on track with your life. If you are ready to get/stay sober in a great place then look no further!! – Brenden
Aurora Sober Living is a great place to learn how to live sober before transitioning back to everyday life on your own. They hold clients accountable for their recovery while balancing work and other responsibilities. They also expose clients to the sober community and activities that exist in the Denver metro area. Sherry and Karis are highly involved and get to know their clients individually. They truly care for everyone’s sobriety and well-being.- Kady
I recently was released from prison, and was placed at aurora sober living by my parole officer.. i did not stay long but in the time period I was there it really helped me come to a realization in my life that if you want to do something you can.. and i been on a great path since living the house and I feel great.. thanks- Briana
The house was a safe, structured environment that helped me meet several awesome individuals. I also started the 12 steps program that helped me grow personally. The owners and house manager were always available for assistance. The owners went above and beyond in helping me meet my basics needs. They showed me resources and helped me find temporary work. I can’t say enough how this place enabled me to keep my sobriety and grow as an individual. This place keeps you sober. If you put in the work, follow the house rules, and attend meetings, you are well along your way to life of sobriety.- Kevin
I came into Aurora Sober living on August 11, 2020. I was in a very dark place in my active addiction, so bad that I reached out and made that 1000 lb phone call to Sheri Blosser. She was so kind and caring and made arrangements for me to come into one of their sober homes. I am so grateful for this opportunity! Overjoyed with all the love that came with it. I recommend ASL to anyone who wants sobriety!!- Bobby
